Summer Favorites

Last night I had to dig into my closet to find another blanket. I spotted a tree turning hints of orange and red by the river. The sun is setting earlier and earlier... there is no denying it, summer is becoming another wonderful memory.
Here are things I have loved this summer:

I have been really enjoying fishing this summer. It has become an activity I find clears my mind and gives me excitement. It also gives me a chance to spend time with me Dad in a beautiful location... what is better than that?
Next thing I have adored this summer is adventures with my best friends. These memories I will keep to myself because they need to remain magical.
After becoming an avid runner I have come to appreciate the importance of a serious stretching routine. I prefer to do my stretching/yoga ( whatever you want to call it) outdoors. The space the sky gives me allows me to imagine my body to reach all corners of the sky.
"Boyhood" was absolutely my favorite film I saw this summer ( although The
Hundred Foot Journey is a very close second)

The beauty product I have fancied the most this summer is the " All- in- one BB Cream" from The Body Shop. I hate wearing heavy makeup, especially in the summer but this BB cream gives light coverage and feels lovely on the skin. I highly recommend it.

These have been my two favorite nail polishes this summer. Very different but very lively.

I have always been a major fan of Lush products but recently I can't walk past the store without picking up something new try. There facial masks are a dream and today I tried on of there stream tabs and loved it! Last time I was in the store the lady who helped me also informed me that she had tried every single product...
And this is my favorite song at the moment:

What next?

My life has become very unpredictable, leaving many windows, doors, and any object you can open… open. It can be challenging, yet exciting, to know what step to take next. As I discussed my next foot prints with a co-worker I asked for one piece of advice… what she wish she knew when she was in my shoes. Her answer was simple: “Write. Start a blog and write about anything; clothes, make-up, fitness, food, travel, friends, family, sports, adventures. Just write.” She went on to explain how writing will always be a extremely useful skill in any professional endeavor, but yet can be lost without solid practice. I could not agree more. So here, in my blog I will write, and practice the timeless skill of putting thought into words. I don’t know if I will every share this with people, I don’t know what I will write about, and I don’t know when, but all I know is I am going to write.

Enjoy
